Barry Downes
Barry has over sixteen years experience in the ICT and Telecommunications industry and is an Executive Director of the TSSG. Previously, Barry has held
executive positions in product development in the USA, professional services in Europe, Internet and telecommunications research in the US and Europe, and has delivered multimillion Euro projects
for some of the world's largest organisations.
Barry has previously founded a number of companies including: Nubiq Ltd, Akruu Ltd,
Zimbie and FeedHenry. Barry also advises a number of companies on their
entrepreneurial growth and development through innovation: including Muzu, Hash6 and Mobile Tornado.
Barry holds an MBA from Smurfit (UCD), a BSc. in Applied Computing from WIT and is currently
studying for a Doctor of Business Administration at Henley Management College.
