Richard Rodger

Richard holds honours degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin. His professional career started in Dublin, Ireland, where he worked as a software developer and later technical manager for an Internet consultancy firm. During this time he acquired experience in a wide range of technologies and developed a keen understanding of customer-facing projects.

Richard moved to Heidelberg, Germany in 2000 and worked for the successful startup InterComponentWare GmbH, which specialises in medical informatics systems. During this time he gained considerable experience in the management of globally distributed software teams and very large scale software development efforts as a project manager. With his experience of the startup dynamic, he returned to Waterford, Ireland in 2003 to run his own company, Ricebridge Software.

By 2006, Ricebridge was established as a successful micro-ISV, and Richard joined IMS-Stream to pursue the much larger opportunities available in the IMS domain, taking on the role of CTO in order to drive forward an innovative technology base for the delivery of IMS services.
